Overview
HobbyDashboard.com ("we," "us," or "our") is a curated link portal for sports card collectors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor. We built this site for the hobby community and take your privacy seriously.
Information We Collect
HobbyDashboard.com collects very little information. The site has no user accounts, no signup forms, and no login.
- Server logs. Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting only and are not shared.
- Visitor counter. The site displays a running count of total page views. This counter stores only a single number on our server. It does not record who you are, your IP address, or any personal information.
- Email contact. If you email us, for example about advertising, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you and do not sell or share it with third parties.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which sections are visited, how long people stay, what devices they use, and which outbound links are clicked. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
HobbyDashboard.com itself does not set any cookies. Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions for the aggregated usage statistics described above. We do not use advertising cookies or any third-party ad network cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will keep working normally.
Outbound Links
HobbyDashboard.com links to many external sites: hobby news sources, grading companies, marketplaces, YouTube channels, podcasts, and others. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no cost to you.
Advertising & Sponsored Placements
HobbyDashboard.com displays banner advertising and sponsored link placements, including for our sister store IfItsSports.com. These are served directly from our own site. We do not use third-party ad networks, and no advertising system tracks you on this site. Sponsored links may include tracking parameters (such as UTM tags) that tell the destination site the visit came from HobbyDashboard.com; these parameters do not identify you personally.
Children's Privacy
HobbyDashboard.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data Security
Because the site collects almost nothing, there is very little to secure. We do not store payment information, account credentials, or personal profiles of any kind. All purchases are handled by the external sites we link to. The site is served over HTTPS.
